logitech G610 illumination and display fusion: some things just don't work
hi. i LOVE displayfusion, i've been using it for years now and i don't wanna be without it on my PC.
i bought a logitech G610 late last year, because i like mechanical keyboards and i like lit keyboards. the G610 does both.
also i like usless stuff like keys that light up when i press them and then stop glowing after a time or the other way around.

now my issue is, that when i use keyboard shortcuts, the base-button (ie.the [Alt]-key in [Alt]+[Tab]) gets stuck in the "pressed"-state of the light-up theme.
funnily enough, it only does this when display fusion is running, as i just found out. (after pestering the logitech support for weeks and months)

i have no idea what display fusion has to do with my keyboard and the way the LGS (Logitech Gaming Software) handles it's illumnation triggers, but i would be happy to no end if we could find a way to have displayfusion and my keyboard live in peace on my PC! =)

On the DisplayFusion Settings > Alt+Tab Handler tab, is it enabled? If so, does disabling it seem to resolve this issue?

actually, it does solve the [Alt]+[Tab] issue. the [Win]+[Comma] still keeps the windows-button stuck. is there an option for that one, too? =)

When the key is still lit, is the key state actually still stuck? e.g. when the Win key is lit, if you just press E, does Windows Explorer open?

nope. there is no real key press present in the system, just the logitech software controlling the light gets confused.
until you gave me the tip about the Alt+Tab Handler, the Alt-key and the right Windows button were constantly stuck, because i use Alt+Tab a lot as well als Win+Comma. (lots of programs to switch between as well as 3000+ wallpapers constantly rotating that i'd like to look at) =)

Strange! It's like the keyboard isn't detecting the KeyUp event when the hotkey fires. I'm not 100% sure if there's anything we can do there, but I will pass this up to our devs to see if they have any thoughts.

actually, the keyboard/operating system receive the keyup event, but the part of the logitech software responsible for the lighting doesn't seem to get the message.

i trust you tell me if there is anything i can test for you? key combinations, programs, what ever. =)

Also, if you use a normal Windows keyboard shortcut (like Win + E to open File Explorer), does that have the same issue?

it's the one with the brown switches (https://www.amazon.ca/Logitech-Backlit-Mechanical-Gaming-Keyboard/dp/B01CDYB8F6), but it doesn't change anything about the functionality.

after i've changed the alt+tab handler only the [Win]+[,] will keep the windows button light get stuck. (also i just learned, that using [AltGr]+[Tab] keeps the menu open, even when i let go of both keys. can only close with by pressing [Esc] or [Return])
[Win]+[Break/Pause], [Win]+[Tab], [Win]+[A], [Win]+[.B], [Win]+[C], [Win]+[E], [Win]+[F], [Win]+[G], [Win]+[H], [Win]+[.I], [Win]+[J], [Win]+[K], [Win]+[L], [Win]+[M], [Win]+[P], [Win]+[S], [Win]+[T], [Win]+[.U], [Win]+[X], ... in short: https://support.microsoft.com/en-us/help/12445/windows-keyboard-shortcuts

none of these except for [Win]+[D] and [Win]+[,] gets it stuck.
so for some reason, only ones that show the desktop screw with the button, but not [Win]+[M].

i have no idea what's happening. =/

[edit]
added dots to brackets that would otherwise trigger text formating thingies

Ok, and just to make sure, Win + [Comma] and Win + [D] are fine if you exit DisplayFusion?
