Sang-Froid - Tales of Werewolves

Great game, but suffers from technical issues and lacks polish.
TL;DR: Overall, it's decent. Fantastic idea and concept, poor delivery.

I've spent about 3 hours on this game. First off, I always check the pc gaming wiki for any methods to fix technical issues:
http://pcgamingwiki.com/wiki/Sang-Froid_-_Tales_of_Werewolves
There's not much there.

#1! One of most annoying things are games that don't allow support for (borderless) fullscreen window mode. Or at the very least, windowed mode. And this game doesn't allow either; fullscreen only. It's 2013, come on...

#2. Alt-tabbing stops any loading. You can find this on PCGW. If you alt-tab to do something else while the game is loading, you'll come back to find nothing actually loaded while alt-tabbed. Herp derp... Nobody wants to watch a screen telling me it's loading, COME ON!

#3. Loading takes too long. It's up there with Natural Selection 2 (horrible loading time, seriously). No game should ever take more than 10 seconds to load. If it's 10 or more, it's too long! This game is around the 30 second mark. (BUT IT FEELS LIKE FOREVER!)

#4. "Waiting for Steam initialization..." You'll probably run into this immediately. It basically blocks you from getting to the main menu (you can't play the game essentially). This error message occurs when you launch the game and it is not in focus (active window). By default, it launches minimized/inactive/unfocused (at least for me).
So when you launch the game, click on the splash screen quickly to make it the active window. It should work then.

#5. Mouse sensitivity. As mentioned in the wiki: "X-axis much more sensitive than Y-axis sensitivity." And I also see no option to disable mouse acceleration/enable raw mouse input.

So yeah, that's the main stuff that bothers me. There are other minor bugs in the game as well. But other than that, fix the technical parts and you've got yourself a great game. Until then, meh...

Also, the music is awesome.

Yep, pretty unpolished, but it's still gold imo. Give it time and it could be smoothed into something worthy of being a top PC title.

"unpolished"

-mouse lag
-not possible to set mouse sensitivity
-X-axis much more sensitive than Y-axis
-no option for raw input
-no mouse re-mapping
and:
-NEGATIVE MOUSE ACCELERATION!

Can only agree.
- The loading times are rediculus
- Videos are stuttering. I can't understand anything.

Yep, I'm kinda disappointed at the technical side which is a shame since I love the art style and the setting. My biggest complaint so far is the awful mouse handling. Also pretty choppy perfomance.
