Another game without 2560x1600 support. What the hell is going on?
Up to 1920x1200 16:10 is supported, but it doesn't support 2560x1600 for those with 30".

Devs, please add this resolution in the next patch. Not supporting 2560x1600 while supporting 1920x1200 is just plain lazy and/or ignorant.

I paid good money for the game, and playing anything under the native resolution of my monitor breaks the game, thanks.

If there are so many games without the native resolution of your monitor, what would be more prudent, ALL the games you want to play to completely change their resolutions, or for you to get a small monitor?

Hey there Oblisk, just recently there was someone who stated that his 1024x768 was not supported by the game.
I make an educated guess by saying that it might be a little more than plain ignorance or laziness that made the Devs come up with the decision not to support each and every resolution.
Generally spoken, even though I understand that you like that resolution, don't you think too, that it is better to focus more on the games content than on its graphics ?

It's unfortunate that Sang Froid doesn't support your large resolution, but how does it break the game?

Many LCD screens have native resolutions which look best at. If a software uses a resolution LOWER than the native resolution, the screen turns incredibly blurry, almost to the point of being unplayable. It also messes with the mouse movement because the user is used to tracking mouse at a certain resolution + pixels, but using a resolution under the resolution makes the user hard to use the mouse.

I have no idea why the game doesn't support 2560x1600 when it suports 1920x1200. Now I can't even play the game properly.

When 1920x1080 became the norm, 1920x1200 was quite common for computers. You could watch something in 1080p and have a control bar not hide anything on screen. Both of my screens are 1920x1200. It'd have been silly to not support it considering how many people use them.

I haven't been keeping up with the trends, but 2560x1600 doesn't sound like it's anywhere near common yet... I don't even want to know what monstrous graphics card you'd need to run newer games at their intended settings with that.

If your going to support crappy resolutonis relase your game on a console. PC games are supposed to be the next level. Sadly this one opens in a tiny box on my 5660 x 1920 display, I have other indy games that cost less that have no problem with this resolution. Dev's it's 2013 for c*@# sake.

Can I store my aircraft carrier in your swimming pool?

Dosen't support 2560x1440 either.
I'm disapointed aswell, do not look good when not in native resolution.
Almost all my friends have/are moving over to either 2560 or 120hz these days so i would think all new games would support that aswell.
(btw running on a single gtx680 4gb/w8/2500k@4.5/8gb and all new aa titles runs just fine on this not new hardware)

Jesus christ guys, look that this: http://store.steampowered.com/hwsurvey

Now go to the Primary Display Resolution and look: 2560 x 1600 0.14%

WOW. Less than ONE QUARTER OF A PERCENT use that resolution. Gee, I'll bet the devs will hop on it right away!

This is what I was thinking. I honestly couldn't tell if the OP was actually angry, or just trolling. Expecting support for a resolution THAT huge and uncommon from every game, especially games produced by small indie companies that can only really hope to try to support the most common setups, is a bit unreasonable. The level of anger was unreasonable, as well.

That's like going to the grocery store, and getting mad that they don't sell milk in 55-gallon drums.. Nobody buys that!

So players with higher resolutions buy more games than folks with 1920 x 1080? Haha, I'm sorry but your argument is fallacy.

So this is what the other half complains about, lol.

All you naysayers are silly.

To make a modern PC game you have to design your UI to be flexible to various resolutions. Even hitting the "common" resolutions is still a very large number of variations.

As a result, you have to simply have a strategy to scale to more or less arbitrary resolutions, and a higher number with the same aspect ratio that you already handle should be easy to do.
