Linux?
Are there plans for a Linux port? I'd love to play this.

Time will tell! I don't really have an answer for you other than not at the moment though. You can attemp using "Wine", but I wouldn't recommend it since we can't guarantee if it will work or not.

Once again the 3% of Steam users on Linux want games on their platform. They're starting to sound like iOS fanboys. Life isn't fair, you chose Linux you can deal with the limited selection of games.

You're right, 147,000 people don't matter. Their consumer demands should be ignored and marginalized. Despite the fact that Linux update of STEAM has been faster than the Mac uptake by leaps and bounds.

It's a bad thing that people want choice.

Indeed, I'm happy to spend money on games that run on Linux.

If they aren't available on Linux then I don't buy them. It's not whining if I inquire as to the availability of a product and express an intent to pay for a product which meets my desires. It's capitalism in action.

Eh, Wine is a fairly huge pile of fail in my experience. I'll have to wait and see if you get around to a Linux port.

In the meantime, great work! I'm ecstatic to see Quebecois themes appear in games. :D
Seconding the Linux request. I'll buy this regardless, but I'll buy it a lot sooner if a Steam for Linux version is released. There's still 7 or 8 games I need to play through first though...

Look awesome either way.

Seconding the Linux request.
I just bought the game for windows just to show support for the devs. The Let's Play I watched and everything I've read online makes it seem awesome. Still seconding the Linux request.

I voted for this on Greenlight but if there's no Linux support then I won't be buying it.

Linux would be nice, then I could play this on my HTPC. :)

Understandable. I agree that Wine would not be a recommended solution to playing on Linux.

Is someone out there who already got it to work with Wine?
I have it on my wishlist all the time now - but I won't buy it for 50% off as long as I am not sure that I can play it...

Usually you can search WineHQ to see people who have tried to run games/application in Wine but ther are zero reports so I am guessing little to no one has buyed this just to test if it doesn't work on Linux. The only report I found was on their forum and a devloper said that he would ask a mac developer who runs it (maybe on wine) to see if it will run. He didn't seem to update the thread. Another user reports that he cannot get it running and that it just crashes on his 13" retina mac book. I would say no at this time.

any news?

Linux support would be a nice extra incentive to pick it up.
