With heavy armor protecting all the sensitive bits like engines, kinetic field generators, and jump drives, it provides a perfect platform for fleet command opperations (and lots of guns). Armor plating can be arranged in a number of ways to allow for a number of weapon loadouts.

All that, and it still manages to look damn good.

Dare I ask what you're running in order to fly that magnificent beast without lag?

Hue, if you think that is big, my ship is ever LARGER and it only lags when i fire the guns near another capital ship xD

Do you have a link to your even larger ship? I would love to see it

Wanna see a big ship?

Even space has its gypsies - and they have their cities...

For reference, the ship that has spawned in the background and looks kinda diddy is my 50 million tonne cargo hauler...

Cthulhu Jul 17, 2013 @ 8:44am
how long does it take to build one of these beasts?
aether.tech Jul 18, 2013 @ 2:48pm
Depends on how much effort you want to put into the subsystems.
DeleteriousOptimism Jul 18, 2013 @ 6:43pm
Indeed, subsystems are a timesink.
waveofmatilation Jul 21, 2013 @ 5:56am
About 6 hours for the city. Every large module and most of the small ones have subsystems...
