Weapons module toggling
Click, click, click, click... this can get pretty tiresome on ships with a lot of weapons. Especially when they aren't even ordered alphabetically.
I feel the current system is quite unintuitive.

  • Hold down left mouse button and slide over checkboxes to enable them all*.
  • Hold down right mouse button and slide over checkboxes to disable them all*.

This greatly reduces the amount of point and clicking, while at the same time feeling intuitive to the user.

* By 'all' I mean the checkboxes the mouse has slidden over while the key was down.

I would go so far as to suggest grouping and naming weapons in the list, perhaps even in the shipyard!

So we could set up weapons groups like:
  • Mining Lasers
  • Forward Rockets
  • Port Guns
  • Starboard Guns
and with a single click swap them all from defensive to offensive, change their priority, etc.

Correct me if I'm wrong, but don't weapons only fire if they have a shot anyway? So if you group all your weapons together, only your starboard weapons will fire when the target's to starboard. You don't need to group weapons based on location/arc, only intended use (IE, corvettes and above.)
