Sound issues (13.2)
There are still some problems related to sound (13.2):

- Laser sounds do not play while the weapon is firing (tested specifically Mining 1 and 3, although this might be the case for all lasers). There ARE sounds for Kinetic and Missile weapons.
- The music volume toggle (esc -> options -> sound) does not function. No matter what setting you put it as, the music volume stays the same. In fact, all other toggles on the sound options menu do not function (master volume, SFX, etc)

Have you verified ingerity of the game yet? After I did that my laser sounds came back but yes it seems like in the build out right now only the splash screen works for adjusting the volumes I'll look into what is causing this issue.

No, verifying the integrity of the game yielded no results. Now, however, it seems like my laser weapons do not fire at all (tried manual control). For automatic fire, its hit and miss. Sometimes they work, and other times they don't (not firing at all, or firing but without sound).

I'll do more testing.

Solitary I've found and fixed the bug with the sound not applying. Hopefully once that patch goes live it will fix your issues.

Regarding lasers not firing Mining Lasers can not be used for attacking at this time, nor can they be placed in manual mode either just a heads up if that's what you have equipped.

I have 1 mining laser, and 3 Energy 4 lasers, on the ship I'm currently using
