NPC Ships (Solved with .018c)

With the change in AI ship destination, have their spawn rules changed? In all my time spent in space since 0.018 was pushed, I have not encountered an NPC anywhere and I am unsure where to find them.

I'm encountering the same issue as Hero, I've only seen 3 ships in a couple of hours, out in the middle of nowhere.

Even after creating 2 new Galaxies, the issue seems to persist. I'm gonna continue to mess around with stuff, see if I can find out what's up.

I have made many new galaxies recently, I do not think that is the cause.

Yeah, I'm just not seeming to get any spawns. Occasionally when starting out I see one or two ships, but when I actually go anywhere, I see not one ship.

After the .018b update, I have seen a couple lone, friendly ships. Both seemed to be immobile (one certainly was). I assume this is because we were not near a system so they had no objective, but I am still investigating.

I did see NPCs though.

Interestingly, I haven't seen any NPC's since 0.018b. It's beginneing to feel like an empty universe.

I can now confirm that 0.018c resolved this issue for me. I spawned, travelled about 30 seconds, and promptly got ambushed by about 6 ships. Man, Ask for a populated galaxy and they're all out to kill ya. :)

Do you put a Sensor as subsystem into your C&C or a normal hull? I think only with a Sensor you can see enemys or other ships or? :D Maybe im just talking s.h.i.t. ^^...however maybe i can help or my answer is useless!
