The number of ship parts now starts as a smaller number, as we mentioned in our update notes. If you wish to start a galaxy with unlimited ship parts, click the "Creative Mode" in the initial galaxy creation (where you set the name, number of factions and sectors in a galaxy) before clicking "Start".
Only thing that will be affected is you won't be limited by credits.
