Is it worth getting?

I'm getting paid on wednesday and I was wondering, is this worth the price right now or should I wait to get this?

Granted I'm a bit biased, but of course I say YES!!!! We just released a patch today, so the next week is bug fixing, but then it's back to developing more content for the game. It should be pretty epic. We're still early access, but are getting closer to release every patch and having such an involved community along for the ride adds an additional layer of awesome to the development of the game.

To get another answer, I say YES! Even though this game is in early access, It has an amazing amount of content. The ship building is one of the best out there, and the space exploration is crisp and fun. Though it may seem that there isn't a lot of content out for the space exploration section right now, it looks like there is tons of awesome stuff in the works and for $20 I'm thoroughly enjoying myself.

For a more complete and multiplayer experience, get Space Engineers, if you want a strong single player and a more long term investment, get this.

I can't seem to stop building ships, so yes. I'ts worth getting for the theroetically countless hours of fun I've had/will be having!!

I have to admit, I feel a bit miffed as to why the editor gets so much praise. It's the editor from Galatic Civs II attached to Galaxy on Fire.
