Mining?

I know that it says mining has been added, but is it functional yet, or just a concept?

Also can drones become full will mined goods? saw that they had a cargo cap but I have no idea how to see if that cap has been reached or not. is all the waste ore just dumped into space?

Tommy -- no mining lasers yet, I'm not sure if Kaypix & Co have it planned. You can check your ship inventory for the ore, I've remapped the key so look at your control settings. Now you might not see it at first until you click a box marked "trade goods". It also doesn't seem to refresh unless you reclick. It's pretty cool actually, very reminiscent of Eve mining drones :)

I know about the Trade goods inventory on the ship just not sure about when the ore would appear in my ship. do the drones need to dock up first or just like in eve, they fly back to my ship to deposite it when they are full?

and yeah, old eve player here, mining was my forte with 6 accounts :P

The drones work 2 ways: 1) if they get full, they come back to the ship and dock automatically, 2) if they destroy the asteroid but still have available space, they just go back to orbiting your ship. Hope that helps :)

Bummer if not, but it's not too big a deal. Still, drones AND mining lasers would be nice.
