Whats the point of being able to toggle : Kinetic Field
I'm currently building ships , and I don't want to be missing out on something big and have to redesign probably more than 50 models down the line. My question, why is there an option to toggle kinetic field, is it preference, or does it server some purpose in combat? Can I get a break down please ?

Fighting is much more complicated when your kinetic field is disabled. Your maneuverabilty is pretty slim then. At least that's the case for me. Also the speeds your able to reach without kinetic field activated can and will glitch the projectiles.

Go ahead, try to fight someone without kinetic field.

The kinetic field will also serve another purpose later on. It will slow down projectiles flying towards you, causing them to deal less damage (only for kinetic and ballistic weapons, laser and beam weapons inflict heat damage, therefor their velocity is irrelevant).

At the other hand: traveling with an activated kinetic field takes much more time as you won't accelerate newtonian-style.

Conclusion: You need to be able to toggle it.

awesome, well right now maneuverablity is pretty poiuntless to me ( Im pretty sure wep arcs and pro/cons will come down the line though).
