Just lost my first finished ship
I build a ship, was a nice concept, but lost it by the last save. I just wanted to take a few screenshots and post it. Ended up with a zero bytes file.
I know this is a very early stage game, and I know bought it because I really want to support the idea, but playing a very early alpha version of a paid game ie very frustrating. Hope they continue developping it to a mature game. I realize they still have to go a long way to get there.

I've not had that experience yet, but I am sorry for your loss. If you can build the ship again and it saves correctly, back up your saves folder by copying it to another location, that's what I've been doing since 0.018.

Also you must remember that you brought into the alpha of the game, we are nothing more than testers currently, not players. As a reward we get (possibly, if the game goes up in price on release) the game for cheaper than it would be at release as well as the satisfaction of seeing a project such as this grow.

Thanks for the reactions. Found out that I had an almost finished version saved under an other name. Anyway next saves will be always with another filename.

i think that every game should first add a lot of things in updates then should focus of bug removal and lag reduction and take up less memory and they havent done either one of these very much so just wait a while (about 4 months) and it will be a lot better (hopefully) and if its not better well then all i can say is that sucks
