Landing on planets?
I've watched the video for Kinetic Void and have read a few things about it, and I have to say it actually doesn't look too bad a game. Just one thing - I am a Kerbal Space Program player (yes, I know) and I just adore the fact that one can land on, explore, then take off from the various celestial bodies available. I was thinking, because in Kinetic Void the universes are all randomly generated and all the planets are procedural, how being able to land on and explore these randomly created planets would be an awesome game mechanic. Is this already possible, or in-dev, or even a considered idea?

No they are making a space sim in a ship not a univerce sim they have stated that it would take to long and cause more issues then not and the game will be space ship only

Maybe something like Space Engine would be more your style.

They said they'd never, ever do landing on/exploring planets, but that modders may be able to..
