Rotation of parts
Is there any way to rotate parts less than the set jumps as sometimes there is no way to get them aligned correctly. This would also allow for more interesting ship desing and should be implemented in my opinion if you cannot do it allready.

Also there is a problem with the size 5 C&Cs as parts float above them or do not attach on the connectors.

The node alignment is already being discussed in the Bug Report subforum. The devs already stated that they're working on it, though.

I have actually fixed all of the nodes, and it will be in the next patch.

Which patch when? As of 7/28/2013, I'm seeing some of the previously misaligned nodes fixed, but the cumulative curving problem is still present.

ALL nodes? Beacuse some nodes seem to be turned inside the parts (yep, v.019 here). I had to use freemode more often than not. This is a problem mainly in size 3+.

What about more rotation options?? I made a thread already in suggestions but no one seems to notice it.... I suggest a 'free rotation' toggleable button alongside the 'node/freeform' button which allows rotation to the nearest degree instead of just 15 degrees as is current!
I have parts which will either rotate too far either side of my desired angle! Even if this was implemented only for hull components this would be great!

Some of the node issues were missed, we are working on a solution for it. This is a very minor issue but we have to stop other things to work on it. Padders, just because you make a suggestion doesn't mean we will impliment it, we are quite busy on other things (like missions) right now.

We just fixed a few issues and I updated all the nodes again, I did some tests and didnt see any issues, I think this has also corrected the node rotation issues people have been having.

Would actually be cool if it could be done on purpose and in a controllable way, but right now it happens whether I want it or not, every time.

Again though, is this a patch that's already gone out, or a patch that's yet to be released? I'm experiencing this in the game as of now, so whatever fix this has gotten hasn't come down the pipe through Steam yet.
