This Game Is Awesome!!!
This game is really awesome :D

The ship builder is fun and I've already spent 3 hours on it today! I would've even paid 5 dollars for it!!! Before I bought it on the flash deal I was having doubts, but boy, I expect great things to come out of this!

Even if gameplay isn't fun, I'll have fun making me some ships :P

Did you guys (the devs) think about adding a workshop integration so people would share their ships and what not? That would be really cool.

I can't wait for it to be finished!!! :D

And I like it so much I'm gonna craft a badge for it, which I rarely do :P

Glad you think so too! I really enjoy this community, and I think it's built around a great game.

I'm not a dev, but a few things are already known:

There will be a workshop for shaing ships, and possibly greater modding abilities (Additional modules, etc.), and possibly a standalone modding tool.

Gameplay is developing, and They're working on a missions framework, so hopefully we'll see that sometime in the near future.

If you have any issues, the Devs are really responsive, and they work very hard at making an excellent expereience for us. (But please search the forums for similar issues and solutions first!).

No issues at all, I do feel like the speeds a bit off but it's not really a problem :P

Another part I loved in the game :

Earlier I thought there was no point to the game, but now that I made like 50 ships I keep seeing them flying around and I blow them up :D

can't wait for some AI :D

Yeah, that's pretty much what I love too. It's a ship geek dream game.

When you says the speed feels off, do you mean if feels to fast/slow? Or that it just seems like not much is happening?

There is some basic faction AI implemented, here's a fun disscussion on how to mess with that.(Lumbering troll is one of the devs, he knows best):

I just mean it feels kinda slow (especially with the distances between planets and stations and such, but I'm sure in the finished game there will be stuff to do in between) and you can't feel if you're moving, even in 800 km\sec

and yeah, I've been totally looking for a good space game, I think this one is it after all :D

a part of that is visual, those little puffs of exhaust coming out of huge engines will always make it feel slow.
not that you go fast in this game without pressing T or shift+T, just saying the animations are not helping to deliver the speed effect just yet.

i could not agree more, for such a small team they are very commendable for their interaction with us and are quick to respond to serious issues (when they can).

Another addition :

Using freeform when building a ship gave me much more freedom!!! I'm making a giant ship now thanks to it! I never used it before :D

I also agree, it is an awesome ship building game, actually, its more like ship building software at this point. Cant wait till they add more functions!

You can hit 800 km/sec? Most ive been able to get is 1.5... T.T

You can hit 800 km/sec? Most ive been able to get is 1.5... T.T

If you hit 'T' in flight, you will turn off your Kinetic field generator, and your craft will accellerate using newtonian physics, allowing constant acceleration.

I can't design worth a darn but the game is still fun my designs are all blocky and crude, I can't wait until they add missiles and torpedos into the game and I hope that we can mount either individual missiles (like on a fighter jet) or in Box/tube launchers I think it would look really cool to have a fighter with like 4-6 guns and 4 missiles either under the wings or the fuselage, guns get a bit boring after a while so missiles will really add to the ships apperance and firepower
