Anything Fun to do in The Game?
I love the ship building, very cool and all, but I just spent like 20 minutes trying to reach a planet only to discover nothing happens.

Is there anything fun to do at this point besides building ships? I know it's a work in progress but I want to explore it a little bit more

You can find NPCs flying around and shoot at them. For now that's it.

Right now, I'm not finding that overly appealing either. I eventually managed to destroy a ship (I did like how it kept moving after some of the sections fell off) but was being attacked by 3 others and the radar wasn't keeping track of them very well. Also having trouble with general navigation. Was moving towards a station and the indicator said it was moving further away. Guessing that's because of its orbit, but I couldn't work out how to align the engines to get closer outside of warp. An autopilot would be nice for that.

I tried reaching the same station over and over again, warp got me too far and then it was hard for me to go back because I needed my speed to go to zero and then back up.
I think the speed needs a rehaul, also when you move in regular speed you don't feel like you're moving unless you've marked a place you want to go and then the counter counts the distance you have left.

It was also quite disappointing to reach the station only to discover it was the shipyard.

But it's still very promising.

You can turn off your Kinetic Field to go faster. Try pressing [T]

Oh yeah, I discovered that, but it still feels like you're barely moving, especially with the distance between planets so big. I hope in the released version they have some interesting stuff between planet to planet / station to station.

Anyways, I'm really glad I bought this, I was having doubts if I should buy it or not.
