Problems flying.
W,S,A, and D keys are used for this game right? Because I cannot use them and my ship is not able to move up, down, left, or right. Is there a part I need to put on the ship to make it do these things?

There's a guide that explains the controls. Check the guide tab.

The ships that were already in the game(Developers creations) work fine this the W,A,S,D keys its only the creation I make that are having problems.

Did you remember to assign actual engines to the engine pieces attached to your ship? Right-click on an engine piece and choose SubAssembly (or something similar, I don't remember the name of the actual menu option at the moment). From there you can choose the actual engines.

Subsystem is the name you're tryin to remember. Don't forget to put the Kinetic Field Generator (KFG) somewhere as well as some sensors.

You say SOME sensors. Do ships need more than one sensor? Why would they? Does it add to the distance of detection? What about sensor boosters then?

They're not fully implemented yet. So you only need one. But later there will be more kind and sensor booster will work. Some booster will add more range, some will make you acquire targets faster and some will let you target more at the same time.

Would you mind explaining why a KFG is necessary? I launched ships without it and still could toggle it on/off, resulting in (oh, my physics...) newtonian flight? And the "normal" one (kind of embarassing right here).

It will save us having to tell people once it gets implemented to put it in.
But your right is has little game impact ATM.

LOL, guess I need to start doing that.

i find that mounting massive weapons in massive arrays helps to give a wide field of fire and lag out my pc lol love to see the entire enemy ship get nailed by cannon fire also i am wondering at the maximum range of the weapons sofar i have only been able to be effective when they are nearly pointblank and at that point its a massive sluggfest and they die in two seconds (depending on ship)
