Do not edit the game controls using the launcher Input
we will be adding an ingame keybinds menu soon

If you mess up your keybindings the only way to revert them is to go into registry editor and remove them: Do this at your own risk!

We are working on the UI overhaul right now, which will include the keybindings menu.

Any chance i'll be able to set up "mouse mode" to use only keyboard? Basically i want to make use of the 15 years i spent playing elite by having an as close to identical control set up as possible...

just leave it in Cursor Mode. allows all controls through the keyboard.

Not dumb questions, we will have a "cockpit view" similar to theone that was in our early tech test but its currently disabled.

For some reason using right click to rotate the camera in the shipbuilder does not do so... I can open the context menu fine but other than that nothing...

Check the input manager on the launcher, see if its bound / you can rebind it.

what would that binding be labled as?
same as the escape button is bound but does nothing in game

This list is amazing, thank you for putting it up for us. I'm in windowed mode using this as a cheat sheet right now. :D

Just an observation, the current "select nearest any" bound to shift + tab is also the default for opening the Steam menu. Possibly needs a remap?

Yeah I noticed this last night, we will be fixing it today (I use shift+F1 for steam overlay and never noticed!)

Press escape and return to the shipyard again, it will reload the scene, but I will get a button on there to do it from inside.

Is there any way to center the parts perfectly in ship yard? I can rotate them, etc. all day, but trying to get them to line up and center on each other is a nightmare, I cant seem to find any way to line them up aside from manually, with my inaccurate hand and mouse. I just bought the game yesterday and then watched an old tutorial and noticed that there were these handy connectors visible to assist with fitting the modules to one another correctly. Are these no longer in the game?

I really dont know much about the game, so some of these questions may seem stupid.

From what I've read they either broke or removed connectors in the latest build, but they've said it will be fixed shortly.

Cool, that will be awesome. I love the idea of this game, but I am unable to bring myself to play it in a sub-par, asymetric ship.
