Thank you so much for your question. Our game allows significant customization of our ships. Take a look at our Screenshots page to see some of the ships people have made in the past.

Execpt the whole UI has been redone 3 times, most of the module placement was fixed, the workshop implementation with a whole new save system, the first missions implementation.

I don't think you really know how hard these thing are to do.

Maybe you should try it yourself. Let's see how fast you'll be.

Now now, to be fair this game is still alpha, and just becuase you dont see the change does not mean it is not there. They are working on back bone of the game. I got a feeling this game is going to be awesome if not epic.

Thank you all for your feedback. John: The changes that have been made to the game in the past 8 months have been extensive, and although many were graphically based that were seen by the players, many more were programmed in the back end of the game, following the rules of physics etc. as we continued to focus on the development of the flight system. We wanted the ships to be the center piece, yes, but keep in mind that a game with amazing adventure and exploration would be hindered if the visuals were not up to par with the experience. Now that our visuals are in place, we are working towards added functionality and combat experiences in the secondary part of our game; space. Draco: Thank you so much for your compliment, we are striving for epic :)

The ship builder is clunky but you get used to it. There's not a whole lot to do in space at this point and there's a lot of system lag/framerate drops when large ships or multiple ships are in your area.

But it's only version 0.4 so what can you expect. If you really want to build custom space ships I'd say go for it.

I just got high hope for this game just feel a bit let down after such along time i just get the feeling there a bit lost in what to do after making the ship bit apart from blasting other ship in space what else can you be able to do. You can only control one ship you cant leave it and walk around on station or planits or go on to other peaple ships and walk round it will you be able to send probes find treasure or lost ships but again your still just stuck in one ship all the time. I know you can build more ships but again you can only control one ship will you be able to construct station and mine planits? build ships that just collect the ores or cargo and and auto mate it? and protect your bases? or is it just fly to one area destroy ships fly to anorther area and destroy ships and repeat.

Maybe this game is not for you then.

A lot of game center yourself around one, and only one ship.

EVE Online
Freelancer
Evocron Mercenary
StarWolves

and I can go on and on, and you can't walk in these (Yeah okay now you Walk in your room in EVE but still)

I don't think a SPACESHIP SIMULATOR SANDBOX is what you are looking for.

You're looking for either an RTS (Real Time Strategy) such as Sins of a Solar Empire or a game that has enough budget to have pretty much everything. Star Citizen or Star Trek Online.

Maybe you should think about what you want, and see if this game is what you want. Because from what you just said, you're looking for a totally different game.

Dakili:
Thank you for your prompt and accurate response.

John: What Dakili stated is true. Our game is set to be a simulator sandbox game. This means the focus is on exploring the universe, as opposed to the interior of a ship. Hopefully you will find a game that suits your needs in the near future.

Once again the mighty Dakili spreads his wisom. You have a way with words I think you should be in PR :P I think this game is awesome but I know it is still an Alpha with a limited resources so there is really not much to do. I play other games or do something else to feel the viod the this game has at the moment. I can not wait till this project is done so I can enjoy the next epic project this team does.

Boring, bad graphics, terrible controls and no real game play, just another company begging people for money so they can make there "super awesome" game that will never live up to anyones expectations.
I asked steam for a refund, will see if it comes through.

Steam will only refund you if they ever stop the project, if it's not done. Otherwise, no refund.
