new shipyard UI. confused as fff
I like the new UI but it's confusing the hell out of me. I right click on parts to add components or whatever, they no longer appear. PArts are no longer clickable. can't even rotate them, move them...etc help?

Have you verified the intergrity of the game cache yet? Also some peoples default key binds have become corrupted. So when you start the game go into the Options and reset the default bindings.

If you have a part that can't be clicked on, the only solution I've found so far is to exit KV and restart it. (sometimes, just going to the main menu works, but not all the time.)

My client seems to be bugged...can't rotate, move, etc.

Also the guild menu is unusable in hanger. I can't click anything in it, but in space I can.

Thanks. I tried all the solution, I don't know which one hit the spot, but it's working correctly now. Game works way better, good work.

Paul,
Although it may take some getting used to, the grid system is actually extremely versatile. You can make it less precise like how the nodes were by clicking on th up arrow located above the grid icon in the lower left corner of the screen. This will allow for more quick placement and less of parts if you are wanting to build something simple and quick. The nodes did not work for larger sized modules, nor were they actually centered, which resulted in problems the larger people made the ships. Please let me know if you need assistance getting the hang of the new shipyard.

I had the same response you did Paull, but after a few minutes I lfigured out the controls and such , the new system is SOO much better then the old one. Lots of flexibility, mangitutdes more then the old node version.

I like the new grid more tbh. It gives more flexibility to attach modules on wherever they need to be, accurately, without having to freeform them. Nodes seemed more forced, like lego blocks.
