Firstly, let me state how amazed I am that we're in the 4th month of the year already. Snow is melting, birds are singing, and tornado-speed winds are gusting around the studio!
Monday we launched the newest Development Patch for Kinetic Void, labeled D11 (If you want in on the madness that is the first week of a patch, view the instructions for downloading a Development Patch here
.) and has the most patch notes we've ever had, 3 pages worth! It was mind blowing, huge changes and making the game feel a bit more cohesive. I geeked out last weekend and cranked out not one, but two
videos about the patch (Long Video Link
| Short Video Link
). I may have been slightly sleep deprived for the longer of the two, so I rambled a bit more and tended to be more enthusiastic than normal throughout the 15 minute video. I'll be working on a more polished video regaling you all with the newest features and what's coming up probably next week/weekend (when I have more sleep under my belt).
Today the guys have been hard at work fixing the bugs as they've been reported to us, and that's going to continue throughout the week.
The rest of the week our team is focusing on ironing out any bugs that our community reports to us, obviously answering any questions you guys have for us as a studio or as individuals and all that. Our artist is working on the new outpost model, some support on the back-end of shaders and such (make game more pretty!) while our programmers are working on combat and some new features for the next patch (D12, not the live patch we push in a week).
As always, thank you for being members of our community and for your feedback, we appreciate each and every one of you.
