Improving efficiency for big ships?
I feel sad that I am limited in the number of modules my ship can have before it starts lagging - and I have a pretty decent computer. Anything on the bigger side of dreadnaught size ships causes my FPS to dip even in the shipyard.

Was just wondering if there are any possible major performance leaps in the future.

Currently the limitation for such is Unity it self, because it is using an older version of the physics engine the CPU is dealing with alot of the caluclation instead of the GPU. When Unity steps up to Version 5 they are going to update that engine so that will hopefully help once we update the project through Unity 5.

Alright, thanks! I want to use this as a warhammer 40k sim and the multi-kilometer ships demand lots of parts!
