This week in Kinetic Void (March 3 - March 9, 2014)
Hey everyone! Obviously yesterday was Development Patch D10 day, so our team has been working on bug fixes and tutorials (for me at least) to get everyone up to speed for when the patch goes live to all of our players.

I have a video that I'm just editing out now and will have up later today showing some game footage, adding ammo to my ship, adding the new weapon bases and barrels, as well as a bit of combat, using the store and using the inventory, and showing the way the map is shaping up.

Kris and Matt are looking at bugs related to lasers and weapons in general, as well as any other bugs that pop up.

Sean (Lumbering Troll) is looking ahead to our next patch.

Shaun (Artist) is working on creating new weapon models to replace the old ones in the shipyard.

Rick (Workshop Guru) is working on the mission system so it can all tie together.

And of course I'm bug testing like it's nobody's business :) I'll update as the week goes on!

I'm guessing, varius weapon attachements for the hardpoints?

Yep that's the plan. I imagine he'll work on additional hardpoints at some point as well.

One of our programmers is working on adding asteroid clusters, rather than just spaced out asteroids in Sector mode. This means when you fly up to an asteroid icon, once you're within 2,000 km it'll spread out into a group of asteroids. This will be implemented more than likely in our next patch.

I hope the current weapons wont be completely thrown to the bin, I very like the tank like and the sphere turrets we have now, plus many other guns that never was implemented to the beta. Maybe some of them can be reverse engineered to the hardpont models.

And that now we have hardpoint system does that mean we wont have double and quad weapons ?

Nothing is final right now, but the old weapons will be going away, some parts may still be used. the double and quad weapons were just a visual thing, every weapon until now had the same stats

Wow, that looks damn awesome. Great work! The new trading stations look awesome as well. I also really enjoy the design for the turrets. They just look very unique now and thats good.
