This Week in Kinetic Void (February 24 - March 2, 2014)
Holy cow, how is almost March already??? Before you know it, little green men will be parading down our streets (St. Patrick's Day parade every year in our city). To kind of get "caught up", last week I made a video, but failed to get it uploaded to our YouTube Channel, so here it is:

D9 Flight and combat basics, just showing a bit about not flying past your enemies etc.

This week I hope to create a new video showing some of the D10 preview stuff the guys have been working so hard on.

Speaking of...the guys are all trucking away on their assignments this week, managing faction relationships, making weapons shoot strange things, and prettying up the station models for future development.

Honestly, that's it in a nutshell, but don't worry, I'll keep you all updated as the guys get me new concept art and video footage to share!

Happy Gaming everyone ;)

Keep it up Kaypix, you're doing great so far. And big ups to the devs, KV is really showing progress during the last patches!

I see lazors

Lazors and missles! The new HUD and shields look good too.

Yep, I'm editing a video today and will get it posted tomorrow showing the combat and how the ammo count works. I'll also be getting a tutorial up about what you'll need to do to ensure your ship will actually fire on the enemy ships. From the next patch, you'll have to purchase ammo at the Store, then open your Inventory and move it from the Station Inventory (where it gets put whenever you buy stuff) into your Ship Inventory. At that point you can shoot and actually have something fire into your target. Otherwise your guns will just look sad, hanging out, except the energy weapon which doesn't use ammo.

And no one wants sad looking weapons :)
Will you be going over the store in the tutorial too?
Kaypix Feb 27, 2014 @ 11:48am
Yep I will.
