Ahhh, nothing says productivity like procrastinating until THURSDAY to post about what we've been up to this week!
- Art: Our artist has been making new space station models (because let's face it, what's currently floating around could use some improvement).
- Programmers: Fixing bugs from our current Development build, working on developing faction simulations and starting to look at weapon system changes.
- Workshop Guru: Working on building the mission framework so players will be able to go forth and earn in-game currency to use for their Career mode ships.
- Me: What have I been up to this week...that's an excellent question! I've play tested a ton, trying to make bugs happen in our latest development build, and started reading up about getting in touch with other indie dev's, marketing gurus and the like. As terrifying as this may sound, I'll be the "voice" of Badland Studio, and with that power comes great responsibility (yada yada yada ;) ).
All in all it's been a pretty quiet week here at the studio, which ironically means our latest Development Patch that went out did not break the universe (yippee!) With any luck we'll be able to finish ironing out the few bugs we were able to find and push that patch to the rest of our awesome community early next week (no promises, things can always go wrong at the worst possible moment) and then it's on to bigger projects again :)
My next video will not be until our next Development patch is out, but I'll be working on some Steam Guides in the meantime.
