New Textures Are Not Good IMHO :,(
Sorry but new textures on modules just look bad in my opinion, the old ones i preferred much more.
The new ones just look too bright and shiny and cartoony in a way and they have many tech like lines in makes-no-sense-places.
Also you can barely see paint patterns on them.
Theres also the fact that some of them are not symetrical, which makes some of my ships now look ugly.
The only thing i liked is improvements on engine parts and the windows on C&C modules.

I dont try to be rude or anything, its just my opinion.

Any one else agree with me ?

Right now there is only one atlas. In the future we may add other texture atlas that can be chosen, but for now this is what is available.

As LumberingTroll said this is due to our new mesh merge system which is in place to try and boost performance.

Thx for fast answer, i missed that part somewhere.
Anyway hope this will get improved in the near future.

mmm I like the new textures a lot. They are far better than the old.

Yeah, personally, I feel the new textures are much better than the old ones, they're much less noisy and much more striking and clear. It might be cool to have some dirt and rust profiles at some point, but as it stands as progress, I like them.

Ok, I understand. Was a little bit shocked when I started Kinetic Void again, (Because I don't played a really long time) because the textures looked so blurred and cartoon like.

I think it's the UVs more than the textures. Textures look OK I think, it's just that there's a lot of surfaces where they look like they're randomly aligned. Someone needs to go through the mesh library and redo the UV unwraps so all the surfaces line up with bits on the texture atlas in a "designed" looking way. Right now it's kind of half-and-half on each component.
