Has This Game Died Out Already?

It's been out I think less than a month and at first there were LOADS of people playing it but now, there's less than 300. What's happened guys? I know I haven't played much of it recently but that's because I couldn't stop playing it at first so I wanted to take a break. Shame to see such a good game die hopefully Rebellion will release a big update soon filled with bug fixes and more maps/content! :D

EDIT: Because there are so many people struggling to find games and wanting to add me so we can play together sometime in the future, should I start a Steam group so anybody who goes on Sniper Elite: NZA can so they can find people to play with? I've seen this happen with Left 4 Dead and it's worked with that so should I? And if so, what shall it be called? Sniper Elite: Nazi Zombie Army Fan Group? Lobby Group? Any suggestions? Thanks!

the numbers online would be a lot higher today even more if it was patched
1.people cant play it because of many errors in the game,eg freeze crash stopped exe so forth
thats why some gave up on it ,but im hopefully sure when the patch comes out u should see alot more online

I love this game! Played 15 hours already. I've never had a single issue with it. I wish more people played online though. If anyone wants to play, contact me!

I killed over ten thousand zombie in this game, played trough it with my friends, finished it on sniper elite in single player, found all gold and bottles, got all achievements. Got other things to do, I think I will give some time off for zombie games

I'll play soem co op. Sometime, if you promise to not leave during the entire game. Thats the big thing that kills me about this game.

A LOT of people are pissed at steam for dropping so often its hard enough too get four people in a room and lose one or two at the last stand and lose the elite trophy
just frustrating as ------ need too change it for two player co-op least you have a chance

I trust they are still working on the patch, once they get drop in/drop out working, things will pick up again

There is only sooo many times you can beat the story before it starts becoming boring.. I beat it both solo and co-op, still wish they had survival, vs, or something else.

I got 15 hours out of it. Which is more than I could stomach playing Far Cry 3.

The game itself has a really fun, 80's horror movie vibe. The shooting is very solid. And the traps actually work better in NZA than in the base game.

If Rebellion put just a bit more effort into the absolute ♥♥♥♥♥ matchmaking, and add some more randomized elements to the levels, they'd have a little cult hit on their hands that would chug along for a while.

The bottom line - not enough maps and the ones there are feel very repetitious, linear and short.

The one other thing is the difficulty - the game is not difficult enough which leaves much less chance ppl will replay it since there is little challenge.

There have been numerous threads about the above requesting even payed DLC or an SDK toolkit for mappers - the devs refuse to reply.

Same goes for the Difficulty - no reply, sadly this game had a tonne of potential but is being left 4 dead.
