Hegemony Rome: The Rise of Caesar – Changelog Update v31303 (2014-06-18)

Hi everyone, we just put out a new update which brings some more improvements, bug fixes, general gameplay adjustments.

Here's the latest changelog:

- Fixed bug with incorrect global wood total
- Fixed bugs with campaign completion achievements (units defeated and regions discovered)
- Fixed multiple bugs with sandbox objectives and victory conditions
- Fixed a couple pathfinding issues on the map
- Fixed problems moving units that get stuck in blocked alpine or marsh regions
- Fixed problems with units detecting open siege positions
- Fixed problem with some forts not blocking trade routes when built
- Added raiders to the Helvetii escort in chapter 1
- Difficulty and balance adjustments to the start of chapter 4
- Extended maximum range for resource movement through supply lines
- New forts added to the start of chapter 4
- Reduced missile damage from cities/forts that are out of food
- Water trade routes are no longer blocked by map boundaries

If I may ask, in case I am missing something, is there a way to make sure that troop line organization is saved by the game upon savegame? I am getting tired of having to re-do my troop lines every single time I load the game back up.

For example I like to block mountain passes with troops, so I get 2 units, 1 archer and 1 infantry to do so. The infantry I put in a 7 line formation and the archer unit in a 4 line formation. Of course when I load the game back up those formations are reset to the standard 3 line formation. This is ok early game, but when I have 20 armies on the map, than it is tedius, it becomes a chore, and I stop playing the game because I cannot enjoy my game if every time I load I have to redo formations for all 20 or so units.

Yeah, all these bug fixes, but still zero improvement to formations, one of the biggest annoyances of this game, in my opinion.
