Game Crashes after 20 minutes

Picked up this game the other day and really digging it but there is a problem.

For some reason when I am playing it will usually run for a bout 20 minutes(with a lot of dropped frames, even with the graphics set low) and then will just crash.

No crash log, no reason it jsut dumps me back to the desktop.

Anyone else got this problem?

I am running a AMD 7800 series graphics card and a i5 proccessor but I can't see why it would be acting this way.

Yep, same problem. 20-30 minutes in and the game crashes. About 1/2 the time I get the crash log. I figure I'll wait six months for some more patches and try again.

Oh, and I should add their first game went through the same process. Hegemony Wars of Ancient Greece started out really rough but by the time Hegemony Gold was out it was a solid and fun game. The studio has a history of updating and supporting their titles so I'm not worried I'm sure they'll iron out the bugs and get everything working.

Hmmm, that's pretty annoying.

If I had not bought this in the Flash sale I would be a lot more pissed. I would have thought the Early Access release would have fixed before the full release

same here guys and i trully like the effort that longbow put into the game.but this is not acceptable

The Chapter 1 seem'd ok.. I didn't play long. Just long enough to figure out how to play..

Going into Sandbox however is totally different.. Seems the more and more territory I claim the faster the crash's come :(.. So I can't even finish a single Sandbox!!! awesome

With the beta patch it looks good so far. no crashes in the campaign. Thx devs.....

I was playing the game and 30 mins in it crashes but it generates a crash log, should I do something with it like upload it somewhere so they know what is going on?

Same crash issue here.
Also, the game is a bit laggy as it seems to chew my 4 Go Ram like nothing - even in mere chapter I.

Looking forward to improvements, and a bit perplexed the product is sold at an incomplete stage.

Still happy I puted some money in the << project >> though, as it seems very promising.

Yeah I have the same problem even with 8gig of RAM.

Seems weirdly poorly optimised although that may just be the current AMD GPU Drivers since pretty much every game I own runs like ♥♥♥♥ now.

joined the beta! same thing! after 25 minutes my game crashes! :(

i joined the beta too and still same problem. low fps and after 20 min its crash. can i something to do?

true ... even with the beta it's the same with me.
money thrown away........ as will have to play that way
