Bringing attention to Primorida
Hey.

I rate Primordia among the greatest point+clicks and wish it would receive more recognition, so more games like it get made. Does anyone feel the same? If so, would you be interested in figuring out how to get it noticed more?

Hi Kelsie,

That's an incredibly nice sentiment -- and a gratifying one as one of the developers on the game. It's certainly not your job to go out promoting: you're supposed to be enjoying yourself! I suppose like with everything else in the world, though, social media would probably be the way to go -- but I would say the simplest thing is just to recommend it to your friends and, if you have the time and inclination, give us the score you think we deserve on GOG.com and Metacritic. We're doing quite well on GOG, which I think does help offset the relatively low scores critics have given us.

Anyway: thanks for the compliment, not just in saying you like the game, but in offering to evangelize it.

Best regards,
Mark

I absolutley LOVE this game! This is up there with Macinarium and Botanicula. I agree this game is mesmerizing, beautiful, one of the greatest! I hope to see alot more from the developers, you guys rock! :)

Thanks! Hopefully we'll have something more to show the world before too long.

I've been doing word of mouth. Best publicity there is.

But it's quite hard to do games like this... really cool that WEG is here to help us all, but considering that Resonance took several years, and this one I think too... we might have to hold on a bit for new games this -really high- quality.

I don't want to start a new discussion so I'll just write it here.

First of all, the game is amazing. It's very unique, also because of the many hidden references and something that most of newest games lack. I mean, when have you guys last played an adventure game with so many endings? And puzzles with more than one way to solving them? It's all so well thought, because not only there are different ways - there are good and bad ways, but only we, the players are to decide which one is good and which one is bad. The simple graphics, brilliant voice acting and a huge world we discover by reading old data - it's a real feast for imagination.

I could write a lot more but I also want to ask something, so to not make it any longer and boring: is there a tiniest possibility that the game will be released translated in different languages? Only subtitles of course. It loses so many potential players because of that and I'm being a witness to this. My friends and family wanted to play this game so badly hearing and seeing how I enjoy it but unfortunately they can't speak English, or they don't know it well enough to understand the dialogues. It would be amazing if Primordia was available in different languages. Even fan-made translation would be fine! Is there a way to interfere with the text in the game? To extract it and later replace it?
Hope somebody answers.
Thanks~!

Hi! Glad you enjoyed the game so much -- you are certainly adept at telling me exactly what I want to hear! :)

In terms of translation, I think there's little to no chance of an official translation. WEG says it's not profitable enough, and I wouldn't know where to start. There *is* a fan translation of Primordia into Russian, and the people who did it might be able to help you. Please try emailing Sergei at:

(remove capital letters)

Feel free to tell him that Mark from Wormwood Studios suggested that you reach out to him. He and the other hardworking Russian translators seemed like very nice folks, so hopefully he'll be helpful!

Thank you very much for information, especially for the contact info! I think I know where to look for translators too :> I will certainly let you know if we manage to organise a group for the translation.
Thanks again!
