We've actually gone through a bunch of next-game concepts, and the one you mention (heavily inspired by Star Control 2) is back-burned at the moment. I feel like I'm nothing but a bag of disappointments today.
Do whatever you find appealing man... Art is not something to be rushed or streamlined into mass-production. Primordia was a product of your own artistic process and that's fine.

Thanks for the heads up, guys (and thanks for the great game!).
It is the game I hold dearest to my heart, and the one game I wanted to have extra collectibles for most of all (although I have been happy for other Wadjet Eye games to get cards as well).
I plan to play Primordia once again in the near future in order to 100% it (I decided to save it to be the 100th game I 100% on Steam, so probably towards the end of the year) and I could not be happier that likely by then there will be cards to collect along with it.
Thank you everyone at Wormwood and Wadjet Eye.
