SKIP TO 30 TO SEE WHAT WILL HAPPEN THIS HAPPENS TO ALL OLD GAMES
and change the line "fullresolution=800x600" to "fullresolution=1280x1024"
now it works on widescreen displays :D
yet, "Duke 3D" also has a newer Megaton Edition to go along with it
Don't forget to swap out ddraw for "opengl".
basically you need to set dosbox to hardcoded 32bit or 16bit color mode. apparently windows 7 and windows vista uses dynamic display ♥♥♥♥♥, so dosbox will try to switch back and forth causing terrible color issues. on windows XP [the best version of windows] we used vdmsound. dont think it works on vista onwards.
