Rebind keys
Anybody know how I would be able to do this? I'd like an easier way to strafe.

There is no way to rebind the strafe keys in vanilla. This is one of the issues that my source port solves: http://maniacsvault.net/ecwolf/

You should be able to just download and run the executable since you own the games on Steam. :)

You can rebind keys, but strafing in vanilla Wolf3D is always handled awkwardly. Bizut3's ECWolf is the way to go, the best Wolf3D sourceport around.

Guess I should give it a try. Didn't like it last time I played it because of the crappy movement.

Its real oldschool man. before people really used it... its almost cheating in the game. strafing wasnt super huge untill doom and all the clones that followed..

i like dont mind it but i grew up playing this on an old 386.

I don't mind old school. I have tons of old video games. I just hated them in this game. DOOM 2 is one of my favourite games of all time.

Thanks a lot this is awesome :D, one minor issue though is the sound for the use key is distorted, anyway around that or is this just a perk of an old game ?

I'm not sure what you mean by distorted. It sounds like it always has to me. The sound can be replaced or disabled through a mod though.

I'm finally wanting to try this out. I'm feeling Wolfenstein lately, but when I dowload it, it says the zip folder is empty?

Verify files, or reinstall via steam... may work... dunno if you have tried this already.

It's not the game that's giving me problems, it's that I want to rebind they keys so I can strafe and such. I want to make the controls similar to DOOM.

Looks like you got caught in the ECWolf 1.2 release disaster. :P Redownload the new 1.2.1 build and those problems should be solved.
