The game runs too fast
***FIXED***
Hi, did anyone else experience this problem?
The game runs too fast on HD resolution with the highest graphical settings.
The ball is way too fast, the DMD text runs by without me being able to read anything, etc...

If anyone finds out how to make the game run "normally", please let us know.

Thank you.

Update:
I did it! :D I reset all the driver settings again - but this time deleted the custom nvidia profile that was created for the game. It seems to be running just fine now.
@Barbie: Please ask your colleagues to try and experiment with different nvidia driver settings - because one of them is clearly messing with the game in a way that makes it unplayable.
@Everyone experiencing this issue:
Go ahead and delete every custome game profile (for THIS game) that may have been added to your drivers settings or make the custom profile use the global values. Now, reset your global values as 'jaquint' pointed out earlier.

2nd. Update:
Turn on V-Sync in your graphics driver settings or make it so the application decides wether it's on or off. Turning it ON resolves the issue - however - you are then limited to the refresh rate of your monitor (in terms of FPS).

3rd update (comment by Lonewolf)
in the mean time those running 120/144Hz monitor and still running to fast vith Vsync on, might want to set their monitor to 60Hz untill we get a patch.

PS! my monitor is 60Hz so I can't confirm if it runs to fast on 120/144Hz monitors.

Same issue.

same issue here . Really makes me wonder how well this was tested prior to steam release

Zen and Pinball FX have always been fast pinball games with tons of challenge. You should be able to change the angle of the playfield but I never did. It's best to be played at its default regardless of the difficulty.

This is not my issue at all. The game (engine, if you will) runs way too fast on PC. As I said, it's most noticeable in the DMD text.

Yeah it's not the challenge of the game (let's face it, it's not that hard to play it) that's "fast" the actual game runs to fast. Like you put fast forward on your VCR or DVD player and that's how the game is running. It's unplayable at this point like this.

Impossible to play the game run 4000% too fast and the demo windows comes 2 sec after starting to play

Same here, so fast it's unplayable. And I'm running it on a laptop. Really dissapointing, and kind of a strange bug for a game in this day and age.

Thanks for the reports everyone! Have you tried uninstalling it and reinstalling? Let me know if that helps or not and I will make sure the team knows there are speed issues.

HI Barbie,

thanks a lot for acknowleding my post.
I have since uninstalled the game (called "delete local content" in steam) and deleted the "\Pinball FX2" folder from C:\Program Files (x86)\Steam\steamapps\common.
I downloaded it again and did not change any settings.

Unfortunately, the problem still exists.
If you need anything else, feel free to ask.

It also seems worse on some tables than others, but that might just have to do with some slowing my laptop down a bit to the point it's playable. The Starwars ones are by far the worst.

People please post system specs.

System specs do not seem to matter at all. It's a problem with the games engine I suppose.

It was way too fast for me too but I found that if you turn ball reflections on it seems to run normal for me... pretty sure that's what did it at least.

all is too fast also loading screen the only thing very good ! loading a table in less than 1 sec is perfect but the rest of game too fast ... bad. I can run BF3 all at maximum so it does not come from my computer haha.
