The beta for Ironclad Tactics' brand new "New Game Plus" mode starts tomorrow! If you want to test it, sign up here.
The title says it all. If you're interested, fill out this form:

We've got everything finished, but need to do a quick test for bugs and to make sure everything is balanced correctly (in its current form it most certainly is not). One caveat of participating in the beta is that you won't be able to go back to the non-beta version, and won't be able to play with anyone not in the beta, but only for the week or so until the beta version ships.

We should be sending these out tomorrow. Everyone who filled out the Google form will get the access information.

Also got the beta e-mail. Can`t play yet, but the e-mail states that the cost of Dodge has been increased to 2 AP. So Skirmish Chassis has been nerfed after all.

I played about 10 missions now. Not a lot of changes but I can see the difficulty as been made up and that's good.

But the 2 new cards are kind of useless. Revised prototype can only be used with a military/experimental deck so... not very useful. And the other card is an experimental tactic. Why experimental only ? Why not a neutral tactic ?

Except those new cards, everything seems perfect so far !

Played a bit of the new game+ campaign and I can say that it's more fun (and harder) than the original. Specially the second mission :). The best thing though is the ability to get all skirmish/nemesis cards without having to play with friends.

Just finished Story+ on Arch Linux 32-bit. Everything is smooth. The new missions are fun and appropriately difficult. Haven't tried out the new cards yet, but I'll report back after trying them out a bit.

Played thorugh the new game+ campaign (minus the last level). Didn't find any bugs at all and the difficult seems adequate. In my opnion the update is good to go. :)

I didn't find any bugs either, but I'm not sure that's enough. I find the reward for completing mission really disapointing. It's only cards that we already have from the normal campagn (except 2 new cards that I personnaly don't like).

Perhaps unlocking the P&P cards could be a better idea, since the random 1 vs 1 is almost dead.

I've had a chance to tinker with the two new cards and I like Field Adjustment, but I see the Revised Prototype as a little underpowered as compared to the Auxillary Chassis. The Prototype/Revised Prototype combo does have an extra "virtual" 2 health, but considering you have to keep both the Prototype and Revised Prototype in your deck and have to have both drawn in-game to have use of it, the combo isn't reliable enough to serve more than a minor role in an Army/Experimental deck.

That said, when you luck out with a deck that makes use of the Prototype/Revised Prototype combo, it's pretty awesome. As it stands, I'd suggest a slight buff for the combo, perhaps more health or an extra VP (the later probably being a little on the overpowered side).

Overall, the new content is great. Keep up the good work!

I think what could really thrust Revised Prototype into usability is a zero AP cost, or making an army-experimental deck have a synergistic effect - Any Prototypes in an army-experimental deck are changed to have the Revised Chassis as a chain-to card.

The second option invites more ideas of other synergies, but the first stays within the confines of the game, as it is.

I know I'm a little late to the party but i just finished the ng+ story. Loads of fun with a bit more of a challenge there during a few key mission. Got hung up there for a bit on the last one but manage to get lucky. No bugs as far as I saw but I do feel the two new cards could use a little work. Mainly the prototype being changed to an experimantal fanction or revised being made an army. The new tactic is nice if you use it in a combo with Tactical Advantage. Loved it though and had tons of fun and can't wait to see what you all do with the game next.
