Steam Achievements Not Unlocking
I bought the game during the summer sale and have played about 3 hours worth of it. I've gotten 3 different endings and unlocked the medals in-game, but the achievements don't unlock on Steam. I've even tried doing the same medal over to try to unlock the Steam achievement, but to no avail. Has anyone else had this issue?

This is odd...do let us know if anyone else has seen this or fixed this. We are looking into it.

Andy mentioned that the game tries to re-submit the achievements every time it launches. At the risk of invoking Roy from the IT Crowd, does restarting it fix the problem?

I just tried restarting and playing through again. It still doesn't seem to be working. :/

Played through again and got the "Monster Annihilation" ending and medal, but the achievement still didn't unlock. I'm loathe to test it out, but do you think resetting the medals would fix the issue?

I don't *think* so. The game remembers what you've earned, and will try to tell Steam, "HEY! TRIGGER THESE ACHIEVEMENTS!!!!!" whenever it starts. For our other game, Aaaaa!, we had to send the achievements a few times to make sure they stuck.

If you'd like to experiment, try:

1. Start the game
2. Wait 5 seconds at the main menu
3. Exit
4. Repeat 10x

If THAT is happening, then we know that Steam's all like, "Hey, Monster Loves You!. I'm not listening to you."

In which case, we know the fix.

If it's not that, then I'm flummoxed. But I've e-mailed Andy @ Radial Games to look into this, since he's on tech.

Alright, tried the above, and unfortunately it didn't work. The Steam overlay still works in-game, and I got all the trading card drops from playing the game. It only seems as if the achievements are non-responsive. Everything else is working perfectly fine.

Hey, Winchester! I was never able to get achievements to work, though I haven't played the game for quite a while now. I could always try redownloading MLY and trying it out again. Maybe it got fixed in an update or something...?

Excellent news! I just finished downloading MLY, and as soon as I booted the game up, all of the previously unlocked achievements popped up simultaneously! Winchester, thank you so much for posting in this old thread. It was incredibly satisfying to see all those achievements unlock at the same time. :)

Pretty messed up the devs just left you hanging after they had you try to that rediculous fix. Dont mean to be a hater, but damn, they could have at least followed up with you.

Eh, it's not that big of a deal, to be honest. I sort of just let it go after a while. At least it wasn't some sort of game-breaking bug or something... that would have been a lot worse.
