About the two "other" Morsels...
I've played this game a lot in the past 48 hours. A LOT - so I doubt this is going to turn out the way I want it to. However, one has to try. So.

When you're still in the spawning vats, you determine the fates of two different Morsels; the first, the one who attacks you, and the second, the drowning Morsel. I haven't seen any indication of these Morsels later in the game. Has anyone else? Naturally, it can't be any of the rest, such as Gnash-Nash and Blotz (although every time I let the biting Morsel go, I think of it as Gnash-Nash), because you wind up encountering them regardless of whether or not you killed / saved those first two Morsels. So, has anyone noticed that when you save one of those two Morsels, you occasionally-maybe-might wind up encountering a character later on in the game that you didn't before? Or the opposite - you killed them / let them die / failed to save them and -didn't- notice That One Guy who was in That One Adventure on your last playthrough. It could even just be a little monster lurking in one of the backgrounds.

Like I said, I think this is going to wind up being a big negative... but I have to try, don't I? Maybe you've seen something I haven't.

You know, we didn't think anyone would care about those guys. This is a nice idea; we could set a flag and have the game remember them, such that if you did save them, they'd appear later on.

Something for us to ponder.

I wondered this as well. Indeed, it would be a good idea to implement; give us a sense of consequence!

this could also be applied to the rats that you save or help capture.
i opted to save them and it said one looked back and gave me a nod.
would be neat to have the rat hanging out somewhere later on.
