Infestation: Survival Stories, A.K.A. WarZ, is a sadly overlooked game nowadays due to the fact that at launch the game was horribly optimized, tons of bugs, a dev team that lied and hadn't implemented all the features that the game was supposed to launch with and tried to run with all the money. For me, that is a clear reason to stay away from a game, but after 2 years, this game is actually pretty good now. I bought this game for $4.99 with a few friends of mine because it was on sale, we knew of it's tarnished reputation, but we were bored and $4.99 was nothing. We started playing and it was actually a lot of fun, it still has its problems, but so do all games right?
Expansive map that isn't too large, but isn't so small that it gets boring fast.
Zombies that can kill you fast and easy if not careful.
First-Third person camera that requires you to use both for certain weapons and attachments.
Amazing Day/Night Cycle.
The fog...ooo the fog...fog.
A dev team that hasn't given all that they promised.
A dev team that is slow to update.
Still has some bugs like zombies walking through walls, DCing you when getting into vehicles, etc.
This game is kind of P2W. You can buy food, armor, backpacks, hats/helmets, weapon attachments, melee weapons, and ammo at the store. Yes, buying this stuff will get you ahead in game, but you can easily get this stuff with little effort in-game without paying. I've had little problem finding all that is in the shop, on my own without paying.
