Worth re-downloading?

I unistalled this game due to hackers im wondering if they are mostly gone.

See I've had the opposite experience. Since PB got added in I have seen a noticable decrease in the number of hackers I run into. Now I stay on low or medium pop severs and never touch the 90+ people servers, I'm certain hackers flock to those more often as they get more grief for their time as it were. So your mileage may vary.

I play on servers with roughly 10 or so people (at the time of joining) and normally I would join in with 3-4 other friends.

One night we played on roughly 8 different servers with about the same amount of people each time, in 5 of those servers we encountered hackers.

Now yes, we were in clearview, but we were there to PvP for some fun. Now I too thought that PB was doing a decent job up until we hit that many hackers in a row. It's just ridiculous.


The only thing about the whole "I've rarely encountered hackers" argument that pisses me right off is when people FINALLY admit that they play on their own passworded private server... Otherwise I DO understand that a few people just may not run into them, but more have than not.

If you are guys are tired of WarZ and its horride tricks you should look into The Dead Linger, Its in alhpa but it offers so much to the table. Boarding up windows, Loot, Multiplayer and other junks. But I'd suggest looking into it. Its a game of its own, and they are going to be updating to a new engine soon. Its almost like WarZ just not the same engine or anything, but the concept seems to be the same. I dont know the details but i purchesed it and soon once its full it will be on steam, they are already greenlit. It could still use some supporters!

Nope I dont play on passworded servers, normally I play on official servers because I've been kicked from private ones too often for not accepting the Hosts random invites.

My suggestion, Stay away from WarZ becuz yes, there are hackers, and if a follow up question to if the hackers will ever leave. the answer is no. Any game has a hacker, Multiply hackers, The hacking age might not ever die for the WarZ

And I would say if you are interested in trying it out again then why not re-download it. It doesnt cost you anything, and you can make up your own mind. I recently did this with DayZ, and found that it was pretty much in the same state I left it in (except the servers ran laggier, but that could have been bad luck).

That is the current popular rumor being spread by the "haters". But it is nothing more than wild speculation on their part, and based on nothing.

I seriously hope, This game is a train reck, It would freakin take a mericle to get this thing in a official functional order, If you want a zombie survival game, Id suggest checking out The Dead Linger, Its as good as they get.

So by that logic you would say that you should never play any online game at all? Because they will all have hackers.

So the WarZ is basically dead at the moment. What zombie game should i try out? Examples: DayZ, Rust, Dead linger, and 7 days to die.
