How to increase FPS

Hey does anyone know how to increase FPS i used to get like 20-25 but now its 5-11. Does anyone know why and how to fix it. My other games work fine without lag so its not my internet connection or my prossesor. I have a nvidia g-force graphics card if that helps

might try this out myself, im getting around 11-20 fps aswell.
