This game is just terrible. Terrible is a light word to describe this game. Allow me to indulge.

1:
When you first start up the game. You have nothing but a flashlight and some ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ you do not ever use or need. There is no story on how you're charcter was randomly thrown on the map. And why you have no weapons like a staff or bat in a zombie apoc. situation.

2. I finally found a shovel. thinking to myself finally... A ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ melee wep. Lets see how I fair against a Zombie. Ran up to house where I see 1 zombie standing by door. I run up to him and click furiously. I am hitting the zombie with a shovel and it looks like I am tapping him lightly with the weapon. I littlerly hit him for 5 whole mins beofre I was like seriously? WHAT THE ♥♥♥♥? You cannot kill a zombie with a shovel?

3. Other players in the game that PAID for weps, or just managed to play this ♥♥♥♥♥♥ game for so long they had everything.... Kill you on site. Oh and one you die you lose all of your ♥♥♥♥. I didnt even have the ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ flashlight when I "revived" my character.


I was a fool to buy this game after all the warnings I have read. That was..... Before they disabled commenting in the community hub unless you owned this piece of ♥♥♥♥ game. You people should sticky this thread to the top of this Hub.

I want a refund of my $2.99 cents. I over paid 100%

Wow this is incorrect. While this is no AAA game of the year award title, this post is horribly innacurate.

1:

Of course you only have a flashlight and some food items on first spawn, they wouldn't give you assault weapons right off the bat. You start off small in a zombie apoc. and scavange to survive.

There are many things wrong with this, first off if you noticed you can use your flashlight as a melee weapon if necessary. Secondly, in the grain of most traditional zombie scenarios, blows to the head are the only blows that matter. This isn't a game like Borderlands where you can shoot Zombies in the foot to lower their health bar. You need to aim your blows.

3. Other players in the game that PAID for weps, or just managed to play this ♥♥♥♥♥♥ game for so long they had everything.... Kill you on site. Oh and one you die you lose all of your ♥♥♥♥. I didnt even have the ♥♥♥♥ing flashlight when I "revived" my character.

1. No guns are purchasable, all melee weapons in the store can be found in game.
2. Only around 6% of the entire active game community uses the marketplace. (Fact stated by Hammerpoint themselves)
3. They probably watched you attack a Zombie for five minutes and thought, "Man, I bet that guy has his started bandages still..." and proceeded to kill you for those apparently usesless starter items that are actually quite valuable

Now for the respawn mechanic. You spawn without gear after respawning your character because you always have access to your Global Inventory before logging into a toon. The intention is that you respawn and add the items you need to your character (IE Guns, meds, ect) before spawning into the game world. HOWEVER, any character you create spawns with meds, food and water, and a flashlight while you're new to the game. So until you actually GAIN kills and experience you don't need to wait to revive the character, you're better off deleting and remaking him.

Well there's no point in elaborating when you can just play the game and find out, but you've clearly already made up your mind.

While I understand your point, there is also nothing to say that you didn't have time to find a better weapon. There's no narrative in this game so they start you off small. Have you ever played a game where you started off with the near best equipment in the game and there was no progression?

Alright lets do just 5 off the top of my head.

1. They built upon a great genre, creating a vastly more polished game (while not anywhere near perfect mind you) than any other competitor.
2. They were innovative with game design (Global Inventory, safezones ect)
3. An environment has been created unlike in any other game where survival comes first, not friendships
4. It represents a challenge no matter how long you've been playing, and it subjects you to different challenges each time you log in.
5. It doesn't have you playing it.

its a very hard survival pvp game set, so if you dont like it dont play but dont blame it. And if they get realy completely rid of hackers its one of the most thrilling games i know. Not perfect but on a good way so far.
P.S.: A shovel is very effective weapon at the start if you hit the heads

I could honestly defend both sidess of the convo, but in reality the game is extremely fun to play. Idk what awards if any it has but, it is a great game none the less. Its challenging and you have to learn to SURVIVE, not "play". I've died tons of times before I started to find out how to live long enough to get better supplies.
I will say this though. I wish the game did have bikes/vehicles. I also know that adding those to the game would be extremely difficult to add and make them really "fit into" the game world realistically. Honestly I couldn't have asked to spend my 3$ any better.
All in all it's an amazing game that has you wanting more. Thank you:)

wow keeva wolf if you only played this game for 1 hour then you really have no room to judge a game you barely played, you havn't even put in a good amount to judge this game fairly. And jebus's 5 reasons for this game being great id just another way of saying this game is unique and great

this is the most frustrating game i have ever played but i cant stop playing it xD

warning : this game is a great game. i have never found a game like this. of course there were some bugs but as Jebus said this is a unique game with a particular gameplay. i like the possibility to lost everything on my character. it changes everything. If you want to survive, you have to observe (usually the first one to see another player is the one who will survive), scavenge to find new weapon, food and water, group with others players (usually friends) to increase the survival chance. Actually what is missing is some objectives (could be a call saying that some weapons, foods has been thrown from a plane. then players will try to meet the objective before others).
I don't understand such hate on this game. If you like call of duty so i understand. this game is not for you.
