Really enjoy it!
I am glad I did not read the community hub before buying this game otherwise I may have decided not to spend my £2.47. There is an awful lot of negativity out there towards this game but I am really enjoying it. I have only had the game for a few days and at first it took time to get used to it and was very frustrating. And yes it can get upsetting when your trawling the countryside sneaking past zombies and you eventually aquire some good stuff only to be taken out by a human with a gun who then swipes your stuff, but to me this adds a level of realism which other games don't really offer. In reality a zombie apocalypse would have people who do this and it means you have to adopt your play style and evolve a bit more which is another bonus. Many people complained about APB too but that is another game I really like so maybe I'm just not normal or maybe I can see the good sides to what most people find upsetting.

heh, most of the haters are players who played it back when the game was called The War Z. Others are either people who don't take the time to understand the game or people who just don't like this particular type of game. Personally I think the game is amazingly fun.

It's funny, I like it at some times, but I don't like it as much (don't hate it) at others, it all depends on what mood I'm in. For the most part though I like it, especially that I got it for 4 dollars!

I have 150hrs in the game and I want to let you know something:

This is a very good game to play. You have to raid for supplies, avoid bandits (or become one) and make it back to a settlement to put your loot in a vault so you can use it at a later date because when you die you loose everything.

They give you up to five characters for a reason, you are going to need them when you are new to explore the map, find loot spawn locations, and learn how to survive.

I haven't play that much of it yet but I've enjoyed it so far. Unfortunately the other day I started a new character and found a saiga right away. Some sucker snuck up on me whe I was in inventory and tried to beat me down so I blasted him a few times. I still have my saiga and only 15% health so I have been desperately looking for health packs. And enjoying it.
Got many hours in dayz so I'm used to the pvp part but have to learn new zombie tactics.

Well I don't know where you are on the map but look for ambulances. =) Painkillers, antibiotics and bandages work well for health so does soup and coconut water.

Cool thanks.I'll have to try again when I'm not working. I'm at that trailer park but its nighttime everytime I go on. Kind of a good thing because last time some sucker wasted a whole lot of ammo trying to shoot me. Figuring he wasted it all I started looking for him but I guess he left.

Not a whole lot there that will heal you but if head to Crystal Lake Resort the restaurant may have some soup but it is not as evective as Pain Killers, Antibiotics or Bandages. There is some good stuff in the houses though as far as melee and firearms. The church has some decent weapons in it also. Look for some cars along the roads and eventually you will find an ambulance or two.

I would really suggest going to your vault and dropping your stuff there, all of it, I mean everything. Then head down the hill and run into some zombies and die. Start a new character or use one you already have created and let him use the stuff in your vault. I do that a lot when I have a succesful raid but am low on health.

Nice I'll look there. Not sure how to get a vault though. I came across one with a note next to it that I thought would be the code but it didnt work. Food is everywhere so I ate a ton of it trying to get health back. Another thing different than Dayz.

Vaults are in the Settlements, they are circled in red on you map.

Those are the safe zones I guess. So that safe I found in the trailer park was a fluke?. Or did someone put it there.

Lockboxes are different, they are safes to put loot in and not the same as the Vault at the settlements. Think of the vault as a bank where you can put stuff. You have to go to the settlement to see what it is. There is a Market or Store there, a Bar, and of course the Vault. You click on this hippie guy at the vault and put your stuff inside for safe keeping. No code is needed. Codes are for lockboxes and those are basically safes you can buy and put any where you want.

the game can be fun but when you store upyour items after many hours of play then have your account hacked then will see how much fun you have.
