Two modes of Play: Normal and Hardcore is the FIRST "key feature" listed.
So there's your perfectly valid excuse for a refund if you wan't one and you didn't buy the game too long ago.

the feature was recently taken out because nobody was playing hardcore mode and people didnt appear to have any problem with it being removed since the normal mode where you die and lose all your stuff and have to wait an hour is i guess strong enough medicine not to wanna get killed..

Its not steams responsibility to change the description page, its up to the Developers to change it as they have access to it, and are the ones who set that information.

Also under recommended system requirements, they don't list a video card, also.. their min and recommended system requirements seem to be the same...

I was simply giving people who wanted a refund a valid excuse to get one.

And FYI when me,. and JeepJeep, and ChiGoku and thousands of other people paid something this $50 for this game, which happend to be last september, not in a chepskate latecomers steam fire-sale, the "hardcore mode" WAS the key feature that everyone wanted.

Look, Man, you put a lot of effort into your posts, so how about paying a little attention to some of the other people who own this game and have been in it and playing it since closed alpha before you come out with statements like that.
Because if you did, or you had been with the game for the past nine months you would know that the hardcore mode was "removed" because it was yet another feature they promised but couldn't deliver on.

And, funny old thing, hardcore characters = absolutely no revenue in revives for their cash shop.

Your agenda is questionable. I'm beginning to think you might actually be a shill, not just a blinkered fanboy who can't grasp why so many people hate this company and what they have done to this game.

Don't speculate. It's because it wasn't implemented correctly or completely and there was no reason at all TO use it.

it does not give any specific about the modes. they could have implemented it any way they wanted to. does not say anything about any hardcore servers, ect. on the store page

until they removed it there was the ability to create hardcore characters.

We have removed the Hardcore option from the game. Unfortunately this feature was not being used by many players. All current Hardcore characters will remain until death.

as i mentioned i dont have any issues with them taking it out i never had a hardcore character so it never affected me. i dont know of anyone being damanged by them taking it out. if it bothers someone so much posting about it in this thread will not get that store page changed and/or hardcore mode added back in. if you want a refund, you want hardcore mode back in, ect i marely suggest you contact steam support, contact hammer point, contact bbb, contact state and/or federal consumer protection agencies, contact a lawyer, refer to section 15 of their eula on dispute resolution, start a petition, but the one that will not bring anyone any closer to getting that store page changed and/or hardcore mode added back in is this forum. ive seen none of the posts asks for it being added back in, its used more as with other points to just bash the company and the game. wish you luck, but i suggest that is like futile if all that you do is post here cause the company does not come here and the game is selling and being played so much its easily top 100 on steam. so its like your fighting against like a tsunami.

its selling so much because there are many people who dont realise how badly this game is developed, how many things get promised and never delivered.

I had a hardcore guy when they removed it, i was pissed off. and judging by the leaderboards there were plenty of toher people who were using it '..... how many people became 'nobody' i dont know .... reality : hardcore guys didnt pay for revives. end of story.

and it was never fully implemented as promised, we were promised hardcore only servers, and faster ranking up in xp. there was still a small reason to use it ... the leaderboards as they were all representative of people who had done it on one life.


but hey when you cant make money from revives, i guess thats a reason to remove it .... but it MIGHT get sales so they still advertise it.


this company have a good concept, but every aspect of it is badly implemented... its almost like sergey rocked on down to the local preschool and announced 'anyone want to be a game developer'

cause i see first year comp sci students who are better at making games than these muppets

doctor you missed the point, before you diverted the thread away from the crux of the matter although that comes as no surpise.

these people can't or won't even update their store page when they take out what they claimed all along was a "key" feature.

Someone buys it, and the advertised key feture is not in it = grounds for a steam refund.
So anyone wanting a refund, that is why they have to give it you.

What's really yor agenda? Unless you work for hammerpoint, why try so hard to get in the way and add confusion when someone suggests the easy way to get a refund?
