Scam implies that i pay money for a product, and do not recieve one in return. If you pay and are able to download a playable game, its not a "scam"
They had to change the name because it was too similar to World War Z.
I think you mean to say its a terrible game. But you are still buying a game.

the night i tried to buy this game my first 3 trys ended in decline, finally the 4th attempt was successful. 2 weeks later one of my declined payments went through... no one answers support tickets for weeks, they dont even have an address! they are up there with anonymous telemarketers... quite literally a scam there bud lmao

call it what u will scam ♥♥♥♥ game what ever this game is packed with Bugs / hackers that make the game rather unplayable unless u enjoy that type of stuff this game had alot of potentual but the DEV's desided to mess crap up and the 1st time they released it the game was so broken they refunded every one and took the game of Steam because its a Heap of ♥♥♥♥ all im doing is saying SAVE UR MONEY unless u want to fork out the price on something ull playy once and not touch again

Dude I hate the devs as much as you, but if you wan't to get people to stop buying the game, don't sound so wacko. You're saying ♥♥♥♥ that isn't true. Well... Sortof true, you just have it wrong. They took it down and refunded everyone because of false advertising on the store page. And since people bought the game for features that were listed on the store page, but didn't exist (and still don't) in the game, there was a TON of people trying to get refunds. So steam made it easily refundable for anyone who wanted one. The devs might not have done this one purpose, but the way they handled the aftermath was terrible. They banned hundreds of people from the forums and in game. And told lie after lie. The game is a ♥♥♥♥♥♥ cash grab on the DayZ craze (not saying it's a rip off of DayZ), they pushed it out before christmas, and the DayZ standalone, to get as many people as they could to buy it. The CEO of hammerpoint is a greedy russian (not saying I have anything against russians lol), who has been involved with scams (selling games in alpha state for full price as a finished game) in the gaming industry before. This company is not to be trusted.

Yes but they got the order to change the name before the steam release. The original name of the game was supposed to be Infestation: survivor stories, but they changed it to WarZ before release. They released it as WarZ to cash in on World War Z and DayZ, for as long as they could.

Just because it isn't in his steam library doesn't mean he doesn't own the game.

The game isn´t that bad, but the community is. Not unplayable because of bugs, unplayable because everybody shoots everyone on sight ... Survival Game => sure not, Idiots running around shooting everything without any sense => hell yeah

This is mostly due to the fact that people were forced to KOS because of the large hacker problem the game had. You could never be too sure who was hacking, so you killed them to save your own ass.

You know, this game is actually better than what people say. Give it a chance you'd like it then. People who hate on the game is because they ♥♥♥♥♥♥ up at the start or they have no survival instincts. Yes there is hackers and the developers have started swinign the ban hammer. Though near enough EVERY game on PC has hackers. If this game is bad because you got shot on sight, then any FPS or TPS is bad. Plus they are servers with 7 people on it, you would rarely meet up with people. End of discussion all of your arguments against the game is now invalid. Have a good day :)

Your argument doesn't cover everything that is wrong with the game.

But I don't care about the game anyway. I care more about the developers, and their poor business practices
