where is the loot?

i went to the airport on a low people server, got to helicopters, no crate, just some water and a chocolate bar. seriously devs, "show us some love" and we will "love your game"

it's random. i've found crates from the farm in the hidden forest to the crashed helicopter in boulder city. you just have to check it multiple times.

Sometimes homes have a shotgun, and sometimes just a bag of chips.

all chance, but remember... others will want what you find a lot of the times...

trust no one.

it's not random because there's a barn in F'dale that has a gun crate that spawns there.

yeah some farm i went to had a ak with 30 ammo, on the top of map, then i was player killed 2 mins later

If you want loot you need to buy it. That's what the dev wants. Random drops are rare on purpose. Buy! Buy! Buy!

yeah its gotten hard to find loot let alone good loot even basics are scarse

Loot is perspective in nature.

What one person deems to be good loot, another may not. The biggest problem with this is that HP are contantly changing the loot (without informing us) and people are going from happy to unhappy in relatively short periods of time.

What they need to do is find a loot set where the majority of people are happy, but so that it doesn't break the game in any way.


Furthermore, they need to put into effect a separate GI for those who play on private servers in order to prevent people from farming on their private server, get lots of guns and ammo and then jumping on a public server and having a huge advantage over everyone else.

They do this a lot, by the way, to those of you that are new. If there's a sale or private servers are due to be renewed, the loot will be good or at least decent again for a while. Then it'll lower to one extent or another until that time again.

But what he ^ said is true. It's a personal opinion on what is good. There will always be some that think it's too much and some that think it's not enough. If they can just find a balance and then not play with it, I think most of us would be pleased.

If you're trying to suggest that a chocolate bar is "good loot" or a bottle of water as "good loot" when you basically get no gun drops that ARE "good loot" I think you're not thinking properly. The game is boring as ♥♥♥♥ without guns. I bought a game to play and enjoy. I didn't buy a ticket to buy more stuff, which you lose at death and have to buy more stuff.

yeah losing all ur gear is pretty ♥♥♥♥ ♥♥♥♥, should be lose 1 random item in ur inventory or lose any xp u gained in last 15 mins or something minor like that

I'm implying nothing, since I have no idea what you (or anyone else) has found in the game. In the (over eight) months I've been in the game, my opinion has more often than not been that the loot is pretty bad. I'm just saying some people would say the loot is bad with a bag full of assault rifles, because they didn't find any snipers. It's a matter of perspective, but if you're finding basically nothing, then yeah that's pretty bad.

Personally I've found decent loot recently. I'll have the occasional time when I can't find much. It's all about where you look and when
