At least Steam had the decency to keep the original rating for this repackaged turd
How did this happen at a dev's meeting? "Our product isn't selling, we'll change the name and spam a whole forum page pretending to be gamers?" Then another looks up from doing a line of coke "Sure some might get suckered in, it's a win-win situation!"

They lost the rights to the trademark and had no choice but to change the name. A happy accident for them, really.

Still repackaging the same turd. That has to be the laziest trick ever.

Hmm.. it's not really a trick though, when they were forced to do it. Not that I'm arguing the rest of it, it's just that one point wasn't really a trick or anything by them (this time).

The haters are really trying it tonight. There's no tricks. They had to do this legally and, tbh. The name change won't help. It's more generic and doesn't standout as much.

I can see Ubisoft making them change the name again.

It's what you get when you spend a few months making a game and rushing everything

They had to change their names because of World War Z filing a suit against them that's what I saw from their Twitter. Either way, don't get the game if you're not interested in it. Get Day Z Standalone :O!

You know you have a terrible product when your business strategy is "Copy the name of a successful product and hope people click "Buy" without looking."
