I've played both. nor am I a fanboy of any game :-)

mod v game. mods been out for some time. they should of been able to update it to be as good as full game ish*.... And Hammerpoint has some down sides but at least they didnt give up after all this crap.

the modders do not claim to be professional ... they just do it on their free time, they do not get payed ... they work when ever they want and when ever they have time ... there days in a row when nobody spends a single minute on the mod ... just a hobby, and if others like it then its okay, if they dont then its okay too
nobody can expect anything, nobody owe to each other (modders>community>Modders)

in a game, in which a lot people spend up to $80 for a copy and a lot more ingame-currency, the company behind this game owe to the customers ...

and yet, hammerpoint fails in almost any aspect of this!
must be blind to not see the difference and the facts

Eh the point is mod or full game a lot of Dayz fanboys talk so much crap about how dayz is better. I just wanted to remind em that they are wrong :-) ...But yet the Modders are planning to sell he standalone >-)

The point I am trying to make is better is better. The company hasn't banned me for anything stupid.

Possible, ofcourse a lot Modders are professionals with software but they are not on the mod ... professional in sense of making money with that product ...

at least sergey hasn't taken 2 months off with our money out of improving the game to climb mount everest or been delayed for well over a 6 months with a much anticipated release while repeatedly taking off...

who can tell if he is not paying any professional ladies to serve his needs?
who can tell he is not paying for 1st class tickets to some odd places for a weekend?
who can tell if he does not climb the mount everest in this very moment?
I dont say he does, but he doesnt tell anything ...
but obviously there is not a lot money going into development of WarZ (Or Infestation)

Dean Hall just took a vacation, what seems to be planned on a long term with
a lot not refundable money involved ... but at least he keept everybody informed
and the work did go on while he was on top of the world
(that does not meen that i not think it was an odd time to take that trip, but do not know if that could have been delayed for a year ... if not, then it probably was better to take that vacation longer before the release than short before or worse after)

and yet you havent played the stand alone (nor have we) so how can WarZ , oh i'am sorry they change their tittle, be a better? People says that DayZ is better and it is a MOD prove that WarZ is no better than a Mod, being a stand alone game compared to a Mod and mostly said DayZ is better is just..Lol..I played both, and i enjoyed most with DayZ, yes WarZ now do have private server thanks to that, less players complain regarding hackers and yet i uninstalled it after i re install because how bored it was. yeah i'am in a clan with our own private server, still i don't feel the pleasure playing it :/ . same goes with DayZ this day,

so right now, i'am just waiting for DayZ SA to see if i can enjoy playing it in the future.

actually no. a mod is just a mod, it can only do so much on a game engine that is not designed to be altered like it has, which is why zombies are still buggy, the game engine is not meant to have zombie like movement in it. The mod can only have so much done to it. and your topic is Mod vs full game doesn't work...

Dayz= Free, since its a mod, you own Arma 2, you get it for free, WarZ ppl payed up to $60 for the game, again Dayz=better = free...

The OP is comparing a fully released game to a mod. In NO universe can a mod be compared with a standalone. It just doesn't work.

now dont get me wrong warZ has its proublems infact EVERY GAME does. your dayZ? ha! i got one hit by a zombie and i broke my leg but hey in warZ i had 5 chance befor that would happen, well i gotta say i want MY MONEY FOR DAYZ back because i thought it was just terrible how the whole camping thing we OP as ♥♥♥♥.

warZ is a GAME dayz is gayZ(it just needs more work because i know mods can update to and get better too)
