The games supprt forums are actually really great. Of course you won't hear this on the Steam forum. People here will tell you that if you ask for help on the support forum, they'll ban your account. Those people are idiots. All of the flames on this form come from a handful of butthurt players who purchased the game at release when it was crap. I can guarantee by the comments on the forum that none of them have played it recently. From the people I've spoken to who have stuck with it, they al say it has gotten better with every update. The last one was about a week ago. Ignore the flamers. Haters gonna hate.

This Tutorial show you, what you can do when you got this Error: "Decompress Failed".

Restart the Game as Administrator
Restart the Computer (This solution has always helped me)
Completely uninstall the game and delete any remaining WarZ files. Download the Warz Setup Exe from http://www.playwarz.com/download and create a new folder in Program Files [or Program Files (x86) when using 64-bit operating system].
Install the Game in this new folder and try to play.
Change the Options of the The War Z launcher so that the Game always starts as Administrator
Change the compatibility mode of the launcher for Windows XP

Yea, that's great and all.. But i don't really give two ♥♥♥♥♥ about what other people think about the game. I just need help to get this Problem fixed.
Not saying that i didn't like what you said and all that.. But it aint really helping me aether.
