So is this game more exciting (ie faster paced and full of stuff to do)?
The game does require quite a bit of travel, much like Arma or DayZ. Is it to that extreme extent? Not in my opinion. Most of the time you'll either be dodging hordes of zombies, finding a new location, or encountering other players. To be perfectly frank, the game keeps you on edge for most of the time or at least is entertaining in some way. If you don't have the patience to do it, though, you may want to look elsewhere for an open-world zombie survival.
World of Warcraft, easy.
He said he has been playing it since it started. It didn't start on steam it started on it's own personal website. For it to be in his steam library he would have had to purchase it twice. He never said he did that.
Runescape.
Only thing annoying there are bots using MACROS to automate sutff.

Thanks.

Does your friend steamroll other players in PvP because of these "hacks"? No. Can he teleport other players to under his axe and then chop their heads off? No. Can he drop a nuke on the entire server? No.
I don't even understand why you guys are comparing War Z to WoW since only WoW is an MMO.
100 people on the same server is hardly massive. Unless you're a massive idiot.
Everything on there is at least 5 months old.
I'm aware of the bad press at game release - I'd be more worried if they didn't continue updating it.
